Ladders - Guild Wars Forums

I have been roaming in the forums but could not find really what i wanted.
When do i get a chance to play games that will let me go in ladders. I saw that i must get in Lions Arch to be able to do this, is it true? Then suppose that i want to create another character with another primary/ secondary professions then must i still go through all these missions to Lions arch again.

the Guild War Ladder is only based on GvG (Guild vs. Guild) battles. In order to GvG, you must be in a guild with a guildhall. To get a guildhall, you must either buy a sigil, or win one from the Hall of Heroes. For more information, you can look in the guild auditorium or try conducting a search on guilds in these forums.

And if you wish to have another character with a different primary, then yes, you will need to go through the missions all over again. However, later on in the game, you will have the option to chance your secondary profession. Primary profession, though, is permanent and unchangeable.
